Lakewood Outdoor Adventures
We are an outdoor equipment outfitter operating on the O&W Trail (Rails-to-Trails), in the Northeast corner of Pennsylvania. We are in the heart of the outdoor recreation opportunities available in this Northern Poconos region. Co-located with The Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant, we are minutes from The Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, to our east, and the Elk Mountain Ski Resort is to our west. We use this website to help our customers who would like to reserve in advance any of our equipment: Canoes, Kayaks and Mountain Bikes.
We sit directly on the O&W Trail, which used to be The Ontario & Western Railroad. The rails are long gone and this Rails-to-Trails system is popular for ATV riding, snowmobiling, dual sport motorcycling, mountain biking and hiking. We rent mountain bikes from the old Lakewood Railroad Station, across the street from our Lakewood Lodge. We also rent canoes and kayaks on nearby Belmont Lake, the largest public lake in this area at 172 acres.
